The goddess of the rainbow. Often pictured as a woman of fire or lightening bolt. Mari protects the body from disease, encourages health, & offers healing when needed. She drives a chariot of four white horses across the sky & adorned with rainbows when she appears. She brings together female + male attributes & qualities. Mari is a model of androgyny and a metaphor for liberation in which sexual difference should cease to be the basis for inequality.
